Primitives
Polysilicate Biopolymers
Injected-molded from sustainable biopolymers, achieving superior mechanical tolerances.
Overview
Deploying bioplastics in high-stakes clinical diagnostics requires overcoming extreme thermal and chemical stresses. Standard biodegradable plastics warp during PCR thermocycling; our proprietary polysilicate composites do not.
Architecture & Design
We fortify polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) with an atomic-layer deposited polysilicate network. This creates a dense, highly cross-linked structure that drastically elevates the melting point and chemical resistance. The cartridge can endure 95°C denaturation holds and harsh lysis buffers while maintaining optical transmission properties required to detect single-digit fluorophore photons.
