Overview

At the heart of every BiQadx system lies our proprietary microfluidic architecture. We have successfully replaced failure-prone mechanical macro-pumps with deterministic capillary burst valves and centrifugal siphons, lowering standard deviation in volumetric metering to sub-nanoliter thresholds.

Architecture & Design

Cartridges are laser-welded from low-birefringence cyclic olefin polymers. Reagent reservoirs are segregated by hydrophobic pinch valves that yield strictly based on precise angular velocities applied by the centrifuge spindle. This allows complex, 12-step ELISA-like sandwich assays to be executed completely sequentially without a single moving part within the fluidic channel itself.
