Overview
Sepsis shock progression demands sub-60-minute pathogen identification. The BiQadx DTC (Direct-to-Compute) Panel bypasses traditional multi-day blood culturing.
Architecture & Design
Utilizing Acoustofluidic cell lysis, bacterial DNA is liberated directly from whole blood. A highly multiplexed isothermal amplification matrix then identifies 34 sepsis-causing pathogens and 12 antimicrobial resistance genes simultaneously. Concurrently, a turbidimetric channel quantifies PCT and CRP levels to triangulate the systemic inflammatory response.
