AST (Microbial Mapping)
Optical density tracking across 96-well micro-carriers. Tracks individual bacterial replication rates under antibiotic stress.
Overview
Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) dictates empirical therapy. The BiQadx BactoSnap system collapses AST turnarounds from 48 hours to under 4 hours.
Architecture & Design
Once a pathogen is isolated, it is inoculated into a 96-channel microfluidic architecture pre-dosed with varying antibiotic gradients. Time-resolved optical density (OD) sensors continuously monitor bacterial replication at a sub-micron scale, generating dynamic growth curves that our edge-inference models analyze to determine the exact Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC).
